In a few days, I’ll be headed off to our property in Todos Santos, Baja Sur to teach a weekend workshop all inspired by the desert, the ocean, the flora and the fruit of the area.
I’ll be posting photos and updates as it happens. Can’t wait to meet my students and play with clay at studio Barro Sur!

I’ll be leading a weekend workshop at Barro Sur clay studio in Todos Santos, Baja Sur in November and I want to open a few spots in my class to some aspiring local artists who might not be able to pay for the class themselves.

Classes for Kids, Teens and Adults are available at the studio for a 9 week session this fall which starts next week. Join in on all or part of the session and be creative with clay! Home-school groups are welcome and flexible punch cards are available for adult group classes.

Jenni Ward is a California-based ceramic sculptor who creates abstract pieces and installations inspired by nature. Her mission is to share the beauty she sees in the natural world through her art. Jenni is the owner of Earth Art Studio; an art studio offering community clay classes to children, teens, and adults since 2005. We are so excited to be coming up on our 1 year anniversary at the new studio. We took over the space in May of 2016 and this year we are celebrating with an over the top of our Annual Spring Studio Sale! There are a million reasons why you should mark your calendars for this year’s event…

As a special event this year, we will be hosting Nora Dougherty and her mobile art gallery, work.shop. at the studio. Nora will be showcasing her beautiful jewelry during the day and will be showing art movies around the campfire after sunset.
10 other artists in the complex will have their studios open to tour, ask questions and buy art! Some will be offering demos and hands on activities.
Food Trucks Agogo will have G’s Mexican Taco truck here with live music from The Dooners onsite Saturday afternoon from 5 – 7
The work.shop. trailer will have art movies and marshmallows around the campfire from 8 – 9
