Atlantic Bone Series Prints

These pieces are reminiscent of biological sea dwelling creatures that may have had fleshy fins or appendages and these bone structures were all that remains. High temperature wire was added giving them slight hints of movement and energy. Six of these pieces were documented in an ephemeral installation on a shipwreck 70’ under the Atlantic Ocean. Using bones as a reference in my work alludes to concepts of decay and renewal. The shipwreck these pieces were placed on share the same reference as their disintegrating structures become an artificial reef for new growth to thrive on.

Images are printed on metal and have a float mount on the backs, they are available individually or a triptych.
